Otmar Alt in the House Peters




"Art is, to set an example" - has once put it Otmar Alt as an artistic theme .

Otmar Alt (born 1940) has put such signs, plentiful, varied and in many forms. His image and form language is unmistakable. For decades, he is one of the most renowned contemporary artists.

Otmar Alt shows itself as one that is free from the influence of taste and which also takes the liberty to release the art from their elitist ivory tower and make it so each at any time.

Here is a carefree world that may sometimes even seem childlike and playful. Here is nothing but childish with unobstructed, open view of the world take in and they reveal a sense, too. Children and fools speak the truth, they say, and alts hybrid creatures, the cats, the clowns, the artists are ultimately representations that can smile to us all, because you can find in yourself and because, as it posits the artist "imagination, wit, charm, lust and sensuality" represent.
